anthony atruzzo met danica burton on a vacation to australia's gold coast. she was his cute waitress and by the end of the night, they were both smashed beyond belief. now, it may not have been some romantic fairytale moment, but nine months later on september 29, 1986, they were married and welcoming their first and only children - twin girls. following only a mere minute after her sister, aubrey brett atruzzo doesn't think being a twin is a big deal. their marriage, though it went through quite an awkward start, has always been happy and full of love. the atruzzos returned to toronto, ontario - where anthony hailed from - when the twins were just 8 years old.

brett's childhood was beyond normal, her parents beyond loving. the little girl got whatever she wanted, but within reason and anything extravagant was to be earned by good behavior and grades. she never got that pony that she wanted, but in such a busy city like toronto, she learned that dream was impossible. however, just because everything around her was normal didn't exactly mean that she was. brett atruzzo grew up quirky, to say the least. she won't eat foods with funny textures, she enjoys breaking out into random dances. she'll sit down with a stranger at a bar and talk, simply because she's a relatively open person.

the atruzzo family was always well off, due to her father's success in the corporate world of toronto. she never quite divulges what exactly he does, but jokes that because of her italian heritage that her family is very involved in the mafia. she sometimes uses it as a threat to get someone to leave her alone, but upon meeting either of her parents, one would see that they are extremely nice and not very intimidating, as neither of them break 5'5. brett herself is only 5' even.

brett tends to have a difficult time making friends,and considers only a few of them her bests. she grew into sticking to herself and becoming a bit off-putting, but she can still have a good time just sitting around doing nothing. most of the time she likes to go out and drink - but no girly fruity drinks, those are for wankers - or play video games. she likes horror movies, but she's not one of those crazies who are obsessed with them, they're just her favorite genre of movie. she also enjoys comedies but refuses to watch anything that is going to depress her.

moths, butterflies and bees are pretty much the only things that scare her. bees are understandable, and maybe even moths, but she usually gets most freaked out by butterflies. she doesn't understand why something can be so fragile, but still is able to keep itself afloat. generally, they just freak her out. the only thing that scares her more than flying bugs is commitment. not just relationships, but commitment of any kind. she doesn't have anything pierced besides her ears because she didn't want holes in her body, but she has two tiny little tattoos. a star on her hip and 'fate' on her wrist. both were done by a good friend, but she will still to this day claim that they tricked her. her commitment-phobia spans to even deciding on a life plan. she only lasted a semester at nyu, dropping out before too long because she didn't know what she wanted to do with her life.

aside from her weird fears, brett is quite the quirky individual. she won't eat fish, of any kind, simply because she hates the texture. the same goes for mushrooms, bananas and drinking milk. she's also very sensitive to smells, so if you have a little bit of body odor she won't hesitate to tell you - and then walk away really quickly. this also means that she has to smell good at all occasions. she wears like three different scents - lucky you perfume, coconut body spray and mango shampoo. she likes to jam to britpop and still remembers every single step of every spice girls dance. she was voted most likely to be homeless in high school, but only because she would tell people she would enjoy sleeping on subway grates in toronto to keep warm in the winter.

brett's parents weren't pleased with the fact that she dropped out of college and moved to new jersey on her own. they were upset about the bill from her sole semester, mostly, not even the fact that their little girl was wasting her life. she moved into an apartment with her sister and best friend, but after a horrible streak of depression about her life going nowhere, brett skipped town and ended up back in her bunk bed at her parents' house. now finally ready to face longport again, brett left on the midnight train to return to new jersey before it was too late to register for community college.

she may be barely pushing 100 pounds, but brett can eat like a champion. due to her love of marijuana, she's discovered her talents of eating massive amounts of food and not gaining any weight. her favorite food when she gets the munchies is tacos or tortilla chips and hot salsa. she likes spicy foods, but will whine about it later when she gets agida (Italian for heartburn) or a stomach ache. other things that cause brett agida are: stressful work(aka work of any kind), cheesy pickup lines, people staring at her and when people have awful music taste at work.

brett finds her mouth getting her into trouble often, because it seems she is missing a filter between her brain and her mouth. she tries her hardest to think before she speaks, but she always tries too late and is already in trouble. the same goes with her facial expressions. she's often caught looking horrified or disgusted, in times where she should just keep it to herself. she blames it on her italian charm.

- her itunes top 25 is super eclectic. it ranges from death metal to abba with a little indie in between.
- acts like she's a lot bigger than she actually is, and hates being told she's small.
- doesn't really have much of a fashion sense, she throws on whatever isn't wrinkled.
- allergic to orange juice. not oranges, not orange flavoured things. just orange juice.
- grew up mostly in canada, but still holds both canadian and australian citizenship
